The Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV), Golaghat has advertised a job notification for the recruitment of 45 Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff vacancies. BSSRV Recruitment 2023 Details
1.Name of the Posts: Registrar
Number of posts: 1 (Unreserved)
Qualifications:
- Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a grading system.
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 or above, or with 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 or above, including experience in educational administration, or
- Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education, or
- 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years should be as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.
Pay Scale: Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200/-
2.Name of the Posts: Controller of Examinations
Number of posts: 1 (OBC/MOBC)
Qualifications:
- Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a grading system.
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 or above, or with 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 or above, including experience in educational administration, or
- Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education, or
- 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years should be as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.
Pay Scale: Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200/-
3.Name of the posts: Deputy Registrar (Administration)

Qualifications:
- Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a grading system.
- Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 10 or above with experience in educational administration, or
- Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education, or
- 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
Desirable: Experience in developing curricula, knowledge regarding academic standards at higher educational institutions, and knowledge about New Education Policy (NEP).

4.Name of the Post: Deputy Controller of Examinations
Number of posts: 1 (OBC/MOBC)
Qualifications:
- Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a grading system.
- Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 10 or above with experience in educational administration, or
- Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education, or
- 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
Desirable: Experience in conducting examinations at higher educational institutions and proficiency in computerization of examination works.

5.Name of The Post: P.A. to Vice Chancellor
Number of posts: 1 (Unreserved)
Qualifications:
- Post Graduate degree from a recognized university.
- A minimum working experience of 5 years working with top management/administrative staff of any higher educational institution and should be familiar with rules of higher educational institutions, UGC Rules & Regulations.
Desirable:
- Proficiency with multiple Microsoft office systems and other related software
- Excellent communicator, a good listener and dedicated to detail
- A wide exposure, broad knowledge and up to date with current affairs
- Able to work perfectly under strict deadlines
- Able to take up emergency assignments and perform them effectively
- Upholds sound work ethics and is highly disciplined
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity thereof
- Possessing a tenacious attitude, friendly, honest, trustworthy, respectful and flexible.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, independently or as part of a team.
- Experience in educational administration and training will be preferred.
- Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system, is followed).
- A consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of a library.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conduct by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be.

- B.Com (with Accountancy OR Finance as Major Subject) with 01 (one) year Diploma/certificate in Computer Application.
- Experience of working in any higher educational institution in Office management/Accounts shall be preferred.
- Graduation in any discipline from any recognized University, preferably in Computer Application.
- Experience of designing website for any higher educational/government institution shall be preferred.
- Must be physically fit with sound health to send documents/ files to various Departments/Centres/Branches/ Offices within the University as well as outside the campus, etc.
- Must have knowledge in receiving Telephone Calls and take note from the caller to communicate/ deliver message to the concerned person
- Must have knowledge in operating Photocopier Machine
- Must know driving (both two-wheeler and four-wheeler)
- Basic Computer knowledge
- Should be able to receive and serve office guests.
Others Eligibility Criteria
- Teaching Posts and Grade III & IV Posts is Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred) only.
- For Officers' Posts, the application fee is Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) only.

- Candidates who are interested and eligible for the position may submit their application using the prescribed form provided in the official recruitment notification. The application should be accompanied by the required application fee, attested copies of Marks Sheets and certificates from the H.S.L.C. onwards, and any other necessary documents.
