1.Name of the post: Stenographer-II
No. of Posts: 34
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must be a graduate from a UGC recognized University as on the date of advertisement.
- Stenographer job candidates must have a Diploma/Certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from an ITI/Polytechnic/other institute. Candidates currently pursuing Stenography/Shorthand may also apply, but they must submit a pass/completion certificate/diploma to the High Court during document verification, unless the High Court decides otherwise.
Pay Scale: Rs.22000- Rs.97000+ GP Rs.9700/- plus Other allowances applicable as per.
2.Name of the post: Stenographer-III
No. of Posts: 96
Educational Qualification
- Candidate who has passed H.S. examination from any recognized Board/Council/University as on the date of advertisement.
- To apply for the stenographer job, you need a Diploma/Certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from ITI/Polytechnic/other institutes. If you are currently pursuing Stenography/Shorthand, you can also apply, but you must provide a pass/completion certificate/diploma during document verification. The High Court may make an exception to this requirement.
Pay Scale: Rs.14000- Rs.60500+ GP Rs.7400/- plus Other allowances applicable as per.

Nationality: A candidate must be a citizens of India as defined in Articles 5 & 6 of the Constitution of India.
Age Limit: Category wise age limits for the posts for both the categories of post , as on the last date of receipt of application , is as under-

- SC: 18 to 45
- ST(P)/ST(H): 18 to 45
- PWD: 18 to 50
Local Language Proficiency: Must have adequate knowledge of the official language (Assamese) of the State of Assam.
