Qualification: Candidates should be Graduate in any stream with minimum 60% marks in aggregate with an UGC/ AICTE approved/ recognized Diploma in Computer Science/ Applications/ ‘O’ Level or equivalent certificate from NIELET. Or Diploma holder from Polytechnic with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent from UGC/ AICTE approved recognized institute in Computer Science/ computer Engineering/ Electronics Telecommunications Engineering/ Information Technology.

Desirable Conditions: Candidate must have typing speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour. A certificate of typing/ skill test is need.

Other preferences: Typing knowledge in languages like Assamese/ Bengali/ Devnagri would be preferable.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry operator is needed.

Pay Scale: Pay Band-2, Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- + GP of Rs.2400 p.m.

Age: 18 to 38 years as on 01.01.2017. Relaxation of age is admissible as per existing Rules.

Selection Procedure

Candidates applying for the post of Data Entry Operator will have to appear in a written test of 100 marks comprising General English, General Knowledge, General Aptitude & Current Affairs and the date for which will be intimated in due course of time through an Assamese daily news paper. Call letters of the same shall be issued to candidate. Successful candidates of written test for Data Entry Operator will be called for an interview and proficiency test in type writing and computer. The dates of interviews and test of proficiency in type writing and computer shall be advertised and call letters dispatched to successful candidates of written examination.
