Name of post - Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Qualification: Candidates should be Graduate in ay stream with minimum 60% marks in aggregate with a UGC/ AICTE approved/ recognized Diploma in Computer Science/ Applications/ ‘O’ Level or equivalent certificate from NIELIT. Or Diploma holder from Polytechnic with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade from UGC/ AICTE approved recognized institutions in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Electronics/ Telecommunications Engineering/ Information Technology.

Desirable Conditions: Candidate must have a typing speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour. A certificate of typing/ skill test is needed.

Other Preferences: Typing knowledge in languages like Assamese/ Bengali/ Devnagah would be preferable.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry operator is needed.

Pay Scale:  PB-2, Rs.5200 - 20,200/- + GP of Rs.2400 PM

Age: Between 18 to 38 years as on 01-01-2017. Relaxation of age is admissible as per existing Rules.

Selection Procedure

Candidates applying for the post of Data Entry Operator will have to appear in a written test of 100 marks comprising General English, General Knowledge, General Aptitude & Current Affairs and the date for which will be intimated in due course of time through the daily newspaper. Call letters for the same shall be issued to the candidates. Successful candidates of written test for Data Entry Operators will be called for an interview and proficiency test in typewriting and computer. The dates of interview and test of proficiency in typewriting and computer shall be advertised and call letters dispatched to successful candidates of written examination.
