Swachh Bharat Mission Assam Recruitment notification for filling up various job vacancies under the Mission Directorate of Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) in SBM Assam on a contractual basis.


SBM Assam Job Details 2017

1. State Capacity Building and Social Development Specialist
No of Post: 01 No.
Remuneration: Rs.50,000 - 75,000/- Per Month
Qualification & Experience: Candidates should have Post Graduate degree in Community Development/Sociology/ Sustainable Development, Social work/ or nay other relevant fields. At least 5 years working experience in public, private or development sector on organizational development as well as in a capacity building. Excellent analytical skills and competency to train and advocacy skills development with proven ability to develop training and coaching tools/ curriculum, pre-and post- training evaluation. Computer Literate (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc). Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle the pressure of work. Flexibility and working overtime as and when need. Adept in writing proposals, report etc.

2. State Media and Documentation Specialist
No of Post: 01 No.
Qualification & Experience: Candidates should have Post graduate degree in Mass Communication, Media and other relevant fields from a recognized State/ Central University on full time basis. At least 5 years of experience working in public, private sector/ development sector, working in development communication, IEC/BCC programs, etc. Specific experience in developing IEC/BCC material and working plan in wash/ Health sector. Specific experience in developing training module, concept note, report writing etc. Knowledge in English, Hindi and local language. Willing to travel extensively in rural areas. Strong communication skill.

3. State SLWM Specialist
No of Post: 01 No.
Qualification & Experience: Candidates should have Graduate degree in engineering, planning or master degree in environmental science, water and sanitation or related field and should have 4 years of professional development experience n the Wash sector and significant project management experience. Experience in implementing, designing or coordinating WASH in rural community. Familiarity with community-based sanitation programs. Knowledge of SLWM technology options and experience in implementing SLWM activities in rural areas. Exceptional degree in integrity, judgment and lack in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material. Fluency in English, Hindi and local language is necessary and desirable. Willing to travel extensively in rural areas.

Age: Not above than 45 years as on 01.01.2017.

1. Project Coordinator
Total post: 01 No.
Remuneration: Rs.50,000/- Monthly
Qualification: Candidates should be full Time Master in Social Works (Minimum 2 years course duration) with minimum 5 years experience in Government/semi Govt./ autonomous organizations/private company of repute in the field of project management in a managerial position and/or additional experience of working with urban development projects /programmes and/or implementing urban reforms for States and ULBs. Minimum 60% marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation.
Age: 27 to 45 years.

2. MIS Expert
Total post: 01 No.
Remuneration: Rs.50,000/- Monthly
Qualification: Candidates should have post Graduate Degree in Computer Science /MCA/ B.E./
B. Tech. in Computer Science with minimum 5 years experience in Government/semi Govt. / autonomous
organizations/private company of repute and with exposure to software development & project management, database management, MIS, etc. and proven ability to work in a team and train staff to use the systems. Minimum 60% marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation.
Age: 27 to 45 years

3. IEC Expert
Total post: 01 No.
Remuneration: Rs.50,000/- Monthly
Qualification: Candidates should have post Graduate Degree (Minimum 2 years course duration) in Mass
Communications/ Public Relations/ Journalism with minimum 5 years experience in advocacy management
preferably in urban sector and/or in conducting knowledge management activities and development of
IEC strategy. Knowledge and experience of government systems and procedures would be desirable. Minimum 60% marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation.
Age: 27 to 45 years

4. Accounts Manager
Total post: 01 No.
Remuneration: Rs.20,000/- Monthly
Qualification: Post Graduate in Commerce having minimum 2 years experience and knowledge in Computer Applications and Tally latest version.
Age: 23 to 35 years

Assam Swachh Bharat Mission General Terms and Conditions & Important Instructions:

1. This engagement will be purely on temporary and contractual basis and Swachh Bharat Mission related only.
2. Initially, this engagement will be for 11 months; based on performance and requirement of the mission, the contract may further be extended.
3. Education degrees from recognized Universities/Institutes shall only be considered.
4. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview for which no TA/DA shall be paid.
5. Incomplete applications shall be rejected without any information and only shortlisted candidates shall be called for written test and/or interview.
6. The screening will be done in a case of access applications on the basis of education background and job experience.
7. Evaluation of candidates will be done as per Annexure-I.
