UPSC Recruitment 2016 notification for filling up online application for Professor & Principal jobs under Union Public Service Commission.

1. Assistant Professor
   Total post: 21 Nos.
   Pay scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6000/-
   Qualification: The candidate must have Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade ina point scale wherever grading system is followed ), at the Master’s Degree level in Relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.


2. Professor
   Total post: 01 No.
   Pay scale: Rs. 37400-67000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 10000/-
   Qualification: Candidate have A basic University qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.


3. Principal
   Total post: 01 No.
   Pay scale: Rs. 37400-67000/- + Grade Pay Rs., 10000/-
   Qualification: Candidate should have Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) by a recognized University.

Age Limit: As on 27.10.2016. For Assistant Professor : 35 years
For Professor/ Principal : 50 years,
For OBC Candidates : 3 years
For SC/ST Candidates : 5 years
For PH Candidates : 10 years.

Application Fee: The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. SC/ST/PH/Women candidates who are exempted from payment of fee.

   Qualification: The candidate must have MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 with Post Graduate degree in the concerned Speciality or Super-specialty and three years’ Teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first post graduate degree.


2. Assistant Director

   Pay scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4800/-
   Qualification: Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Chartered.

Age Limit: 40 years for Assistant Professor and 30 years for Assistant Director as on 13.10.2016.
