The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is implementing National Tobacco Control Programme through out the country under the Programme, National Tobacco Testing Laboratories are being set up at Central Drugs Testing Laboratory (CDTL) Mumbai, Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory (RDTL), Guwahati and Food Research & Standardisation Laboratory (FRSL) indirapurarn.

Director, Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory (RDTL). Guwahati invites applications from eligible candidates for the following contractual posts....

1. Senior Scientific Officer
   Post: 01 no.
   Qualification: M.Sc. with PhD in Chemistry/Analytical Sciences/Instrumentation/ studies related to
   tobacco and tobacco products.
   Salary: Rs.65,000/- PM
   Desirable: 3 years research experience in natural products! synthesis! analysis at Organic compounds!
   bio-chemical/ pharmaceutical sciences.
   Job description: To plan and execute analytical work.


2. Senior Scientific Officer -II
   Post: 01 No.
   Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/pharmaceutical Chemistry/Sciences or M.Pharm with 5
   years research experience
   Desirable: 3 years research experience in natural products/synthesis/analysis of organic compounds/
   bio-chemical/pharmaceutical sciences
   Job description: To work on advanced analytical equipment's and protocols for tobacco products analysis.
   Salary: Rs.60,000/-


3. Technical Officer (Grade II)
   Post : 01 No.
   Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Analytical Sciences/Bio-chemistry/Biotechnology or M.Pharm.
   Desirable: Five years Post degree research experience on handling analytical equipment's/synthetic reagents.
   Job description: To carry out scientific work on instrumental analysis and tobacco protocol development.
   Salary: Rs.58,000/-


4. Technical Assistant
   Post: 03 Nos.
   Qualification: M.Sc or B.Sc./B Pharm with 3 years of experiences in chemical/ physical/ biological analysis/computer applications.
   Desirable: Experience of operating analytical equipment.
   Job description: To carry out analytical/synthetic work and to prepare relevant technical reports
   Salary: Rs.38,000/-


5. Administrative Assistant
   Post: 01 No.
   Qualification: Graduate in any stream with 2 years experience in a reputed organization.
   Desirable: Experience in stenography/handling science related project office.
   Job description: To assist the Administrative officer in various administrative work.
   Salary: Rs.38,000/-


6. Accounts Assistant
   Post: 01 No.
   Qualification: B.Com/BA with Commerce/Accounts with proficiency/knowledge of using Tally with 2 years experience at handling accounts.
   Desirable: Experience of maintaining accounts/project.
   Job description: To assist in maintenance of administrative project details/accounts.


7. Instrument Attendant
   Post: 02 Nos.
   Qualification: Class XII in any stream With 2 years of Lab experience.
   Desirable: ITI Certificate in related field
   Job description: To maintain upkeep of sophisticated equipment's, cleaning of Instruments etc.
