 Qualification & Experience: 
          (I) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with required specialization at Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
           (II) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
           (III) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) of above, candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
           (IV) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters programs in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

Assam Police Exam Results notification about PST/PET Result and Written Exam Admit Card Download for 2564 Nos. Assam Police Constable Posts.

Results of the Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test (PST/PET)  of the candidates who have qualified for written test in connection with the recruitment of 2564 posts of Constable (DEF-1435 (UB)+SB-66(UB)+APRO-806+F&ES-114+SDRF-120 AND MALE & FEMALE FOR DELHI POLICE). Written Test will be held on 25.06.2017.

On uploading of the merit lists on 27-03-2017 in Assam Police Website www.assampolice.gov.in, for written test, several clarifications were sought by the candidates whose names did not figure in the merit lists. Accordingly, the written test scheduled to be held on 02-04-2017 was postponed by issuing a notice on 31-03-2017 through above mentioned Assam Police Website, for further scrutiny & clarifications sought by the candidates.

On scrutiny, it was seen that a few candidates of Arts Stream while submitting online application gave wrong information about their educational background as Science and hence they could apply for the posts of constable of APRO (Wireless Operator/ Wireless Technician), Fireman in Fire & Emergency Service (F&ES) & SDRF (Emergency Rescuer) for which they were not eligible as per the advertisement dated 10-12-2015. As a result names of such candidates of Arts Stream are removed from the merit list of APRO (Wireless Operator/ Wireless Technician), Fireman in Fire & Emergency Service (F&ES) & SDRF (Emergency Rescuer) for which they were not eligible.

APSC Admit Card Download 2017 CCE (Prel.) e-Admission Certificate

APSC Admit Card Download for Combined Competitive Prelim Exam 2017 which will be held on 02-07-2017 under Assam Public Service Commission (Updated on 13-06-2017).

This is for information for all the candidates that the APSC CCE (Prel.Examination /2016 will be held on 02-07-2017 at Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Cachar, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Dima Hasao, Goalpara, Golaghat, Jorhat, Kamrup (Metro), Karbi Anglong, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, North Lakhimpur, Sivsagar, Sonitpur, and Tinsukia.

The status of the applications (select-reject list) and e-Admission Certificate for the said examination will be uploaded on the website on 12-06-2017. Candidates should check the status of their applications before downloading the e-admission certificate.

The e-Admission Certificate will be made available for downloading in the APSC website
www.apsc.nic.in w.e.f. 12-06-2017 at 6 PM. Candidates should note that no hard copy of the admission certificate will be dispatched.
No request for change of ‘Optional Subject’ and ‘Centre’ already chosen for the
candidates will be entertained.

No candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination hall unless he/she produces the
e-Admission Certificate.

Candidates must bring any one of the valid identity proof documents such as PAN Card/
Driving License/ Voter ID Card/ Bank Passbook containing photograph/ ID card issued by the
Educational Institution where the candidate is studying presently / ID card issued by the Govt. or Public Sector Undertaking/passport etc. for verification of identity by Invigilators.

How can I Download APSC Admit Card for Combined Competitive Prelim Exam

  1. Visit www.apsc.nic.in.
  2. Click on Download e-Admission Certificate: Combined Competitive (Prel.) Examination, 2016.
  3. Type Your Roll no.
  4. Click on Submit Button now.
  5. Now download and print your e-Call letter.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
1. This year Roll Nos. will be 9 digits. Space will be provided in the OMR sheet for
filling up the Roll Number.

space provided in the e- Admission Certificate and hand over the copy of e- Admission
Certificate to the Invigilator at the Examination Hall in the 1st session of the examination.
3. The prohibited items such as electronic communication device including mobile phone, pager,
