Assam Agricultural University Recruitment 2017 invited application for filling up following  Deputy Registrar (P), Lady Medical Officer, Stenographer Grade III, Programme Assistant (Computer), Stenographer-cum Computer Operator and Driver-cum-Mechanic jobs under AAU Jorhat Assam.

 The terms and conditions, qualifications and other terms of reference are available on the University website, www.aau.ac.in. The interested and eligible candidates may download the relevant materials and apply in prescribed formats. Candidates need to be the permanent residents of Assam.

AAU Recruitment 2017 Details

1. Deputy Registrar(Personnel), AAU, Jorhat.
Pay Scale of Rs. 12,000 – 40, 000/- G.P. Rs. 6,300/-
Posts: 1 No.
Qualification: Candidates should be at least 2nd class Master’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce of a recognized University. The requirements Master’s degree may be relaxed in case of employees of the University and should have at least 15 years of experience in administration, preferably in the administration of recognized Educational/ Research Institutions or organizations, out of which 5 years should be in a responsible and supervisory capacity.
Desirable Qualification :
1. PG diploma in HRD/ Personnel Mgt. from recognized Institute
2. Proficiency in computer
3. Knowledge and experience in dealing with matters connected with rules and regulations, disciplines and appeals and abilities to deal with matters connected with associations of laborers, employees, teachers etc.

2. Lady Medical Officer, AAU, Jorhat.
Pay Scale of Rs. 12,000-40,000/- GP Rs.6,100/- p.m.

Qualification: Candidates should be MBBS degree from a recognized University. Post-graduate degree in General Medicine is desirable. Preference shall be given to persons having experience in Govt. recognized hospitals/institutions.

3. Stenographer, Grade-III, AAU.
Pay Scale : Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + G.P. 3300/- p.m

Qualification: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized University and must pass the Speed Test Examination of Stenographer of 80 w.p.m.in English conducted by the  University.

4. Programme Assistant (Computer) under KVK, AAU.
Pay Scale : Rs. 9,300 - 34,800/-  + G.P. 4,200/- p.m.

Qualification: Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (Computer Science/Computer Application) or equivalent qualification from a recognized  University.

5. Junior Stenographer-cum Computer Operator under KVK, AAU.
Pay Scale : Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + G.P. 2400/- p.m
Posts: 5 Nos.
Qualification: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized Institute must Possession of certificate of Stenography and Computer Operation with minimum at least 6 months diploma from a recognized institution. Candidates will be given one dictation test in English at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. The candidates will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 minutes on a computer.

6. Driver Cum-Mechanic under KVK, AAU.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 + G.P. 2000/- p.m.
Posts: 8 Nos.
Qualification: Candidates should be passed  HSLC or its equivalent Examination and must have a Driving license for both heavy and light vehicles from the appropriate authority. At least 5 Yrs. experience of driving of both category of vehicles.                                    

N.B. : The academic qualification will be relaxable for M/R /Fixed Pay Worker driving university vehicle at least for 12 Yrs.

Age limit: 38 years maximum) as on 01-01-2017. (a) The age is relaxable by the number of full years of service rendered in AAU/ICAR/CSIR/DST/SAUs and other Govt. Institutions up to a maximum of 5(five) years as supported by the relevant documents. (b) Age will be no bar for regularly appointed working employees of AAU for the post of Dy. Registrar (P). (c) For the post of Lady Medical Officer, age is subject to satisfaction of the AAU authority.

Qualification: For direct recruitment to the cadre of Veterinary Field Assistant, a candidate shall have to pass the examination in elementary knowledge of Veterinary Science (1 year Training Course) from the recognized “School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry” establishment by the Govt. of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar and having passed HSLC Examination as per the basic qualification. In connection with the advertisement of engagement of Assistant Teacher under SSA, Assam vide No. SSA/TT/Engagement of Asstt. Teacher/ 1095/2017/1218, dated: 30.06.2017.

DTE Assam Admit Card Download 2017 for Jr Asstt & Store Keeper

DTE Assam Admit Card Download 2017 notification about Written Tests Admit card download for Jr. Asstt. & Asstt. Store Keeper under Director of Technical Education Assam.

In continuation to the advertisement vide Janasanyog/1003/17 [TE(E)A-15/2017/2099- 2102 dated 29/04/2017], it is for the information to all concerned that Written Tests for the post of Junior Assistant & Assistant Store Keeper under DTE, Assam will be held on 30-07-2017 and the Admit Card can be downloaded from the website of the Directorate (www.dteassam.in) by putting the Application Number, from 18-7-2017.

The candidates who have not entered/provided their correct Application No. while making the payment of Examination Fee at State Bank Collect will not be able to download their admit card.

The list of such candidates will be made available at www.dteassam.in on 12-07-2017. Qualification: The candidate should pass 10th standard from approved state boards by the respective State Govt. / Central Govt. The state wise list of approved boards is at Annexure ‘A’. No weight age will be given for possessing any qualification(s) higher than the necessary educational qualification. The Candidate passed Xth class examination on the first attempt will be treated as meritorious against
those passed compartmentally.

Computer Knowledge: The candidate should have computer knowledge and will be required to furnish basic necessary computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute. Documents from Central Government/ State Government/ University/ Boards etc. will also be acceptable for this purpose. This requirement of basic computer knowledge certificate shall be relaxable in cases where a candidate has studied computer as a subject in Class X or Class XII, or higher educational qualification provided the applicant submits a certificate of Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification in which he/she has studied computer as a subject.

Pay Scale: The monthly salary fixed for Gram Dak Sevak in each sector is given below. This monthly salary will be drawn under a particular payroll.

Age: Between 18 to 40 years as on the last date of submission of application through online. The maximum age shall be relaxable by 03 (three) years to those belonging to OBC categories and 05 (five) years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST. [10 years for PH above the respective group]
Selection Procedure

Selection will be made as per the automatically generated merit list as per the rules based on the candidate's online submitted applications. No weightage will be given for higher educational qualification. Only marks obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to the percentage of the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory for taking candidate into account for calculating the merit. In the case of candidate willfully uploads wrong documents/information and
unnecessary documents, his candidature will not be considered. Similarly, in case the candidate enter marks erroneously either high or low concerning marks list uploaded then the candidature will also not be considered.

Assam Postal Circle Recruitment How to Apply Section

Application Fee: Applicant of category OC/OBC Male should pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one
hundred) at any Head Post Office. Candidate who requires making the payment has to visit any
Head Post Office to make the payment. For making the payment candidate should inform
Registration Number at the PO Counter. However, fee payment is exempted for all Female and SC/ST candidates. 

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online will have to register himself in the portal through https://indiapost.gov.in or https://appost.in/gdsonline with the essential details to obtain the Registration Number.

General Instructions:

  9. Appointed person shall be entitled to pension benefits as per the pension scheme existing at the time of appointment.
  10. Selected candidates shall be required to undergo basic training at place and time decided by the Competent Authority. They will be on probation for a period of one year which may be extended if required. Any candidate who fails to complete the training or is found unsuitable for the job in any manner during the period of probation will be discharged from service.
  11. The PCCF and Hoff Assam reserves the right to make changes or cancel or postpone the recruitment process.
  12. The physical tests are strenuous and candidates who are in proper medical condition only should take the tests. Assam Forest will not be liable for any injury or casualty suffered by a candidate during the tests due to any pre-existing medical condition.
  13. Fake documents/false information/misrepresentation of facts shall lead to rejection when detected at any stage before or after selection/appointment and shall make the candidate liable to the criminal proceeding.
  14. Appointees will have to sign an agreement whereby he/she will be required to serve in Kaziranga Tiger Reserve, at least till he attains the age of 40 (forty) years, and on default shall have to refund the cost of training and are traveling expenses paid by the Government.

competent authority or date of birth entered in the Matriculation or an equivalent examination certificate issued by a recognized board. No other document relating to age such as horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, services records and the like will be accepted.

1. Ten minutes extra-time is allowed from 8:50 a.m to 9:00 a.m in the Morning shift and 1:20 p.m to 1:30 p.m in the Afternoon shift to reading the Question Paper only. The Officer-in-Charge will arrange distribution of Question Papers accordingly.

PET Result Details

The result of the Pre-Entry-Test (PET) 2017 conducted by SCERT, Assam on 28.5.2017 for admission into 2-year D.EI.Ed. course for the session 2017-19 has been declared on 05-07-2017.

SSA Assam Recruitment How to Apply Section

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through SSA official website www.ssaassam.gov.in within time. No offline application will be received. The online application and documents submitted by the candidates will be verified along with their original testimonials, in the respective Districts by the District Level Screening & Verification Committee. The District-wise detailed schedule of verification of documents will be notified in the Notice Board of the Office of the District Mission Co-ordinator (SSA) concerned. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the verification process.

Note:
  • CTET/TET (Elementary) qualified candidates with at least 50% marks in Senior/ Higher Secondary will be eligible for apply for the post of Assistant Teacher of Lower Primary Level and CTET/ TET (eLEMENTARY) qualified candidates with Graduation will be eligible for applying for the post of Assistant Teacher of Lower Primary Level.
  • CTET/TET (Elementary) qualified candidates with at least 50% marks in Graduation will be eligible for applying for the post of Assistant Teacher of Upper Primary Level.
  • The District level verification will be held in the respective districts ( District Mission Office of SSA) from 20.07.2017 to 31.07.2017. In the case of candidates applied in the district of Biswanath, Charaideu, Hojai, Majuli, South Salmara, they will have to verify their documents in the District Mission Office of SSA, Sonitpur, Sivsagar, Nagaon, Jorhat, Dhubri respectively.
  • In case of differently abled (PH) candidates, only Orthopedically Handicapped candidates may apply
  • The Contractual teachers will get all facilities including leave & other allowances as per Government norms.
  • There shall be reservation of post for SC/ST (Plains)/ST (Hills)/OBC/MOBC/Physically Handicapped candidates as per norms.
  • The procedure of selection shall be as per Government rules. Marks obtained by the candidates in TET/CTET, academic qualification, professional qualification and excellence at NCC (B or C Certificate), Sports (participation in recognized sports at National Level representing Assam), Fine Arts and Cultural activities (representing the State officially at National Level) will be taken into consideration for preparing the district wise select list. There will be a provision of a mark (as per norms) for NCTE recognized professional qualification (priority) as per clause 1.(iii) of the Notification vide F. No. 18-1/2015-EE 4, dated. 13.04.2017.
  • The teachers who will be engaged through this advertisement under the relaxed qualification norms will have to acquire the minimum professional qualification specified in the NCTE Notification within 31st March 2019.
  • Candidate can apply only in one district mentioned above.
