i) General Mathematics of Higher Secondary or Equivalent Standard.
ii) English dictation.
iii) General Knowledge.

Carpenter & Electric Mistry Exam Pattern And Syllabus

Selection Process:
i) The candidate shall be required to appear in a skill demonstration test conducted by a competent authority in the presence of Recruitment Committee.
ii) Up to 20% weightage shall be given to the candidates who have worked as casual employees with Department @ 2% weightage for each completed year of service rendered.

 Assam Forest Guard & Jr. Assistant syllabus:

1. General English: In this section, questions will be related to Knowledge of English language and writing ability. Questions from this part will be the 10th standard of Assam Board or equivalent.

2. General Knowledge: In this section questions will be related to general knowledge about current affairs and any kinds of GK. In this test such a question which will be kept to check current events and everyday science and the facts of experience which may include historical and geographical facts.

3. General Arithmetic: In this section questions will be related to Number systems, Computation of whole numbers, Decimals and fractions, Relationship between numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ration and Proportion, Profit and Loss, Simple Interest, Average, Discount, Partnership, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration.
