DGCD Assam Recruitment 2015 - Storeman, L.D. Asstt. & Jr. Assistant Jobs:- Directorate General of Civil Defence and Commandant General of Home Guards Assam (DGCD & CGHG) invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up following Grade-III posts in Assam. More details is given below....

DGCD Assam Jobs

  1. Storeman (Grade-III) = 02 Nos. (OBC=1, STP=1)
    Pay scale: PB-2, Rs.5200 - 20200/- + GP of Rs.2200/- + othe allowances.
    Qualification: Candidates must be passed from HSLC exam from a recognized Board/ Institution.

  2. L.D. Assistant (Grade-III) = 03 Nos. (UR-2, OBC-1)
    Pay scale: PB-2, Rs.5200 - 20200/- + GP of Rs.2200/- + othe allowances.
    Qualification: Candidates must be passed from HSLC exam from a recognized Board/ Institution.


Age: 18 to 38 years as on 01-01-2015. Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.

How to apply: Interested may apply in prescribed Standard form of application along with Self attested copy of Caste certificate from the Competent Authority + 2 copies of recent duly signed by the candidates passport photographs -1 copy must be affixed with the Application form on the top-box of the right corner of the standard form + a self-addressed envelop (25cm x 17cm) affixing a postal stamp of Rs.5/- + Self attested copies of testimonials related to Age proof, HSLC pass certificate, Mark sheets, documents related to claim for age relaxation etc. + Self attested copies of good character certificate from (a) The headmaster of the School or educational institution in which he/she studied last and (b) Two respectable persons, who are well acquainted with the (but not related to) candidate should reached to the following given address within time...

Civil Defence and Home Guards Assam Jr. Assistant Recruitment 2015

  1. Junior Assistant (Grade-III) = 02 Nos. (OBC-1, SC-1)
    Qualification of Jr Assistant (L.D. Assistant) : Candidates must be Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination passed from a recognized Board/ University in Arts/ Science/ Commerce.
    Pay scale: PB-2, Rs. 5200/- to Rs.20200/- + GP of Rs. 2400/-
    Age: 18 to 38 years as on 01-01-2015. Upper age relaxation limit as existing rules of the Reserved Categories.


How to apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply in prescribed Standard form of application along with Self-attested copy of Caste certificate from the Competent Authority, Self-attested copies of testimonials related to Age proof, HSSLC pass certificate, Marks sheet, documents related to claim for age relaxation etc., Self-attested copies of good character certificate form

Exam Details:

  • Objective type written test of 115 marks (Single Paper) consisting of following subjects
    (a) General Knowledge = 40 Marks
    (b) Logical Reasoning = 30 Marks
    (c) Mathematics = 20 Marks
    (d) General English = 25 Marks
    Total Marks = 115 Marks

  • Computer Typing Test (automated software based) = 20 Marks

  • Viva-Voce = 10 Marks

  • Weightage on the division of HSSLC = 05 Marks
    Break up of awarding marks on division
    1st division = 04 Marks
    2nd division = 03 Marks
    3rd division = 02 Marks

  • Physical fitness : A candidate for direct recruitment shall be :-
    (i) of sound health, both mentally and physically and free from organic defect or bodily infirmity, likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his duties and
    (ii) required to undergo medical examination before appointment to the service.
