Selection Procedure

Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respect will have to undergo The Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET). If any candidate is found to have any physical deformity to be detected by the Medical Officer present in the Selection Board, he/she will be debarred from participating in the other tests. Marks for PET will be awarded for the PETs in the manner shown below:

is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties.

Assam Forest Department Recruitment How to Apply Section

Exam Syllabus Details

Written Test: Written test will consist of 50 multiple choice type questions to be answered on an OMR answer sheet. For each correct answer, the candidate will get half a mark. Questions will be of the level of class IX and X. Total marks for the written Test will be 25.

Qualification & experience: Retired Chief Engineer (Civil)/ Additional Chief Engineer (Civil) from any of the works department of Govt. of Assam having good knowledge of building works (Execution & Supervision), preparation of estimate for building, national bidding process, building code of practice etc., having sound health capable of traveling within the state.

2. Consultant (Civil Works)

Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/- Per month
Age: Up to 62 years
Qualification & experience: * MBBS Degree/ 2 Years full time Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Health Management/ Public Health Management from a recognized institute/ university
* Minimum 5 years post qualification work experience in Public Health Management.
* Experience in working for reform health systems and management of change in health sector.
* Computer Proficiency: MS Office.
* Excellent Communication and Presentation Skill.
* Demonstration ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
* Experience in and ability to plan, implement and evaluate large health/ social sector programmes will be main criteria.

3. Consultant (Child Health)

Qualification & experience: * MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Paediatrics from a recognized Medical College and registered with Assam Medical Council

4. State Coordinator (State Blood Cell)

Qualification & experience: * Master’s Degree in Management Sciences/ Health Management.
* Knowledge of logistics/ Statistics, Social Work and Human Resource.
* 4 years’ experience in Blood Services.
* Strong Communication and documentation skills in English.
* Experience in Govt. Sectors (PSU), Social Sector will be preferred.

5. State Consultant (Quality Monitoring)

Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/- Per month
Age: Up to 62 years
Qualification & experience: Post Graduate Degree/ Advance qualification in Statistics. Specialization in Biostatistics/ Master in Health Informatics (MBA Health Informatics)/ Master in Epidemiology (MPH epidemiology) with 2 years experience in Public Health would be an added advantage.

6. Addl. Consultant (MH)

Qualification & experience: * MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology from a Govt. recognized Medical College and registered with Assam Medical Council.

8. Project Engineer (Civil)
No of the post: 01 No.
Remuneration: Rs. 36,000/- Per month
Age: Up to 62 years
Qualification & experience: * Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE (Section A & Section B) in Civil Engineering from any recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
* Minimum 15 years experience in execution and supervision of Construction of Building works.
* Persons having experience in Building construction and fully convergent with building specifications, measurement of building works including payment procedures adopted in the Govt. Deptt. Persons from Govt. Engineering Departments Retired as Executive Engineer (Civil) and above with the above experience and having sound health condition to take up frequent travelling while supervision and execution of works may also take part.
* High Proficiency in written and spoken English and Assamese.

9. Data Analyst
No of the post: 01 No.
Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- Per month
Age: Up to 43 years
Qualification & experience: * MCA, Post-Graduate Degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Demography or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years post qualification work experience in Data Analysis and similar work.
* Proficiency in computers/programming/DBMS as evidenced by a Diploma/ Certificate course of more than one year from a reputed institute, preferably accredited by DOEACC.
* Familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
* Evidence of working in analytic division or any research organization is essential.
* Ability to compile and analysis of various health-related reports.
* Ability to plan, organize and conduct training.
* Excellent in verbal & written communication skills in English are essential.

10. Audit Officer

Remuneration: Rs. 26,500/- Per month
Age: Up to 62 years
Qualification & experience: * Not below the rank of Senior Audit Officer (Retired) from office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit), Assam
or * Not below the rank of Audit Officer (Retired) from the Directorate of Audit (Local Fund), Assam.

11. Hospital Administrator

Remuneration: Rs. 24,000/- Per month
Age: Up to 43 years
Qualification & experience: * Master Degree in Hospital Administration/ Hospital Management/ MD (Hospital Administration) from Govt. recognized institution.

Qualification & experience: * 10+2 or equivalent qualification from Govt. recognized Institute.
* One and half year certificate course of Multi Rehabilitation Worker from recognized institute.
* Registered as Rehabilitation Personnel under Rehabilitation Council of India Act 1992.

18. Sr. Consultant, Training, SIHFW

Qualification & experience: * Essential : MBBS Degree from Govt. recognized institution.
* Desirable : MD/DNB (Gynecology & Obstetrics)/ Degree / Diploma in Public Health Management.
* Experience : Minimum 5 Years experience in teaching and training of Health Professional.
* For retired person up to the age of 62 years 3 years experience in Programme Management at National/State or district leveling the field of MCH/ O&G and Monitoring and evolution of programme.
* For retired person up to the age of 62 years retired as senior faculty member in Department of O&G in Medical College or as senior specialist in O&G from a hospital preferably with Public Health or Health Administration background.
